About this vehicle This 1948 International KB5 Rat Rod 12v Cummins 5 Speed is an original with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Truck turns heads and gets lots of compliments, Please call or text if you have any questions. I drive it to work weekly 35 miles each way at 65-70 MPH. Vehicle Details 1948 International KB5 Body mounted on a 1997 dodge 3500 dually frame. Truck is powered by a 12v Cummins with the desirable "P" injection pump. The truck has a 5 speed manual transmission NV4500, that was rebuilt with new bearings, synchros, and upgrades. The tires are 11r22.5 on 22.5 wheels, with 8 to 10 lug adapters. The truck has new glass in the cab, side windows and rear are tinted. The headlights are HIDs and all other bulbs are LEDs, the rear turn signals are sequencial. Radiator and Intercooler are mounted behind the cab, and cooled by twin fans. The cab has a new under dash A/C system. All wiring has been replaced in the past year. Truck has trailer hitch and gooseneck hitch, and will pull anything you want. I have the title for the cab, and the title for the frame, it's currently registered/insured as a 1948. Truck is about 95% done, but I have too many projects, and have decided it's time to move on.
