1948 Dodge Brothers B1 SWB 5 window.
Really solid truck body Beautiful 1 of a kind Mother Nature paint job Mopar over Mopar! NOT another GM powered S-10 chassis. Built on a 1991 Dodge Dakota LE chassis showing 61,XXX miles (exempt on title so who knows if it is actual or not). Truck sits low and level. Factory Holley TBI 318 LA engine (Runs STRONG!) Factory OD trans (Shifts STRONG!) Power disc brakes, power steering
RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT! I DRIVE IT DAILY!
STRONG TRUCK!
New items include:
New front brake calipers, new pads and new rear brake shoes. New front wheel bearings. New Monroe front & rear shocks New TPS, MAP, IAC, Trans. Spd. Sensor, O2 sensor New ECU computer New 120V Alternator Voltage regulator conversion (no more ECU regulated voltage) New plugs/wires/cap. New battery New fuel pressure regulator New idler and tensioner pullies New electric fuel pump and filter. Felpro valve cover gaskets Brand new 16" steel wheels. Brand new Cooper tires all around.
Rare his/hers dome lights ;) Super cool sun visor!
Custom dash covered in vintage burlap.
Truck starts right up every time. Engine oil is clean, trans fluid is clean, fresh coolant. Runs COOL! No smoke or any funky noises! HOT Heater system works great and blows STRONG! A/C compressor/condenser is there but needs hoses & hooked up All gauges work great. Headlights and tail/brake lights work great (no turn signals)
This is a VERY, VERY cool truck and it gets TONS of attention.
Body has dents, dings, scratches, rust. .here and there. It is what it is. I think it is perfect just the way it is.
Truck was built in Wisconsin by the previous owner. I took it as partial trade on one of my vintage motorcycles.
I go back and forth about selling it because it is a lot of fun to drive and actually handles the road REALLY good surprisingly.
Even cornering at 60-70mph it hugs the road great! Clear Indiana title (to me). Plated and insured to me. *TITLED AS A 1948 DODGE B1 TRUCK
Things I find (IMO) that could be improved:
*No wipers but rain X works great. *Hand signals (no turn signals) *Would be nice to run exhaust all the way out the back like stock but sounds great the way it is.
Ask anything, anytime.
Call (number in pics), email, or come by and check it out and we"ll take it for a drive!
NO TRADES
Thanks a bunch!
Real easy to buy from me. Just read/accept the conditions below and we"ll make it happen:
Simple rules for buying from me:
Shipping:
I am NOT a shipping company.
I CANNOT give you a quote to ship this car to you. There are many factors involved in shipping like open carry vs. enclosed carry, residential vs. commercial drop off.
Shipping costs are the buyers responsibility but I will work out the details with your shipper to load the car up.
Sold "As Is" and "Where Is". No warranty expressed or implied obviously BUT if you are in the area you are welcome and encouraged to come and physically inspect this vehicle at anytime. I"m not an expert on anything so PLEASE ask questions anytime. I"m happy to answer with 100% honesty to the best of my mechanical ability. This is an old, garage built truck folks. Hard to cover every inch BUT I am happy to take any additional pictures of specific areas for you upon request at ANY time. I try to video and photograph everything to insure an honest ad.
Nothing to hide here.
Paying:
1) CASH IN HAND IS KING and I prefer handshake, FACE-TO-FACE transactions but that"s not always an option.
So. .
I EXCLUSIVELY USE DOMESTIC and/or INTERNATIONAL BANK-TO-BANK WIRE TRANSFER. IT"S SAFE, SECURE AND INSTANT. I HAVE CONDUCTED HUNDREDS OF SUCCESSFUL TRANSACTIONS THIS WAY OVER MANY YEARS WITHOUT 1 SINGLE ISSUE (see feedback).
2) I DO NOT, ABSOLUTELY 100% DO NOT USE PAYPAL OTHER THAN DEPOSITS UNLESS BUYER AGREES TO PAY PAYPAL FEES .
PAYPAL IS NOT ACCEPTED OTHERWISE!
I DO NOT LIKE PAYPAL AND I THINK THIER FEES ARE OUTRAGEOUS AND UNACCEPTABLE !
IT"S RIDICULOUS WHAT THEY CHARGE FOR BASICALLY DOING NOTHING.
3) AS A LAST RESORT , CASHIERS" CHECKS ARE "OK" BUT THERE IS A HOLD PERIOD WITH MY BANK (7-10 DAYS)
