Selling my beautiful 1947 GMC Pickup 1-Ton Pickup Truck. One of a Kind! Can be used to put a Motorcycle in the back or change with a Harley Davidson Decal! A lot has been invested in this build. Over $65K invested. It was a frame off restoration. This car drives exceptionally well, you can take it to the car shows & for weekend cruises. Note: I put the decal on the side door, but you can take it off and put your logo or an Indian motorcycle logo with a vintage motorcycle in the back.
This truck has numerous options such as straight 6 engine, upgraded 5-speed Borg Warner transmission, rear coilovers suspension, radio, safari front windshield, roof lights, headers, custom side exhaust and 8 Lug nuts wheels, Dolphin gauges more…
The truck did receive a full restoration that was completely taken apart and built into what it is today. The frame was completely disassembled & coated, & painted. Underneath you"ll see the frame rails are excellent as well as the frame are in great condition. The Body is very sane and has the original spot welds from factory. During the restoration process it received all new mounts, new door seals, all new chrome pieces, new windows, new weather stripping, all new lights, bumpers, grill, all new bolts. The truck has a splendid paint job clear finish all around in black & pepper grey, and sits on its steel wheels with 8 lug nuts. The truck has a really nice stance, gives the truck a superb look! The front grill are very rare on these models, and had to buy a separate truck just to be able to get that front grill. Which then was re-painted!
The engine is a straight six engine mounted to its upgraded manual 5-speed Borg Warner transmission. They came factory with 4 speed transmission. A lot of detail has been spent on the engine compartment to make this truck a show winner. All new electric wiring through out. This truck will definitely get lots of attention at the shows & question at the cars and coffee meets.
The interior has also been sand blasted all around and repainted. Look at the pictures to see the sides of the doors and underneath. All upholstery is brand new, and all new chrome miscellaneous pieces through out the interior. It does have the original door handles on it. Has all new Dolphin chrome gauges. I do have the original gauge cluster as well. Factory steering wheel and steering column. This truck is in superb condition and very comfortable & pleasant to be in. The Body is straight as an arrow. Incredible amount of attention, and detail as been placed in this car.
