This is One of the few 1947 Dodge WF-32 Farm truck left. It was purchased new in 1948 by one of my friend’s great Grandparents. Used on their Kansas wheat farm as a wheat-grain hauler for the wheat thresher for many years. This truck was parked in their Kansas barn in 1981 when they could no longer farm the wheat. It had 38,126 original miles. I discovered it in 2009 and purchased it. Being somewhat rusted and having sat so long when I obtained it, I had the original engine completely rebuilt, complete new brake system, upgraded the electrical to a 12Volt system, had the exterior professionally repainted. A local leather shop made new real-leather seat cover. The truck bed is all new. I acquired some 160+ year old long-leaf pine from an old barn that we tore down so that we could salvage and restore the barn timber. A lucky, rare and beautiful find! A cabinetmaker friend helped me build the bed. Also, all new tires with painted rims. Myself and our neighborhood has enjoyed having this truck around! We have gotten many years of fun with this truck, driving it around, going to shows and most fun of all, going Christmas caroling every holiday season to the neighborhood! It runs and drives good. I would say great, but with its all-original drive and powertrain it can sometimes be a little cranky on cold winter days. It has a clear title! Never wrecked at all. This truck is - simply put - a real eye catcher and attention grabber! Perfect for an Instagram moment for a place of business or event center… Or just wanting to drive around for fun! Reach out with any questions you may have. I recommend that you come and take a drive in the truck before purchasing. You will not be disappointed. I have two antiques now and need to sell one of them. I dumped a lot of cash and time into these jewels (around $38,000 in this truck alone). I am not expecting to get out what I have put into it, But hoping to get close. Although it is very hard for me to part with this truck, A reasonable offer will not be refused at this point. I am happy to deliver for free anywhere in the state of Texas. Anything outside of Texas, delivery fee will be The responsibility of purchaser. And now, to anyone who is considering being the next proud owner of this piece of history - Happy bidding! Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
