Vehicle description

This Dodge farm truck has been an absolute jewel to have around. I purchased it as a rusty yard fixture 10 years ago. I had the original engine entirely rebuilt at a professional shop. The electric system has been entirely upgraded to 12 volt. The brake system is completely rebuilt, new fuel system. Upgrades include: New pearlescent paint, new interior, Bubinga wood door panels with armrests, lit dash panel instruments, LED running board lights, steel glove box, bubinga wood dash panel, carpet floor, leather seats, LED interior lighting.
Basically complete rebuilt, while maintaining the original 1947 truck experience. It runs and drives great! Original tube-horn gives a great classic “honk”. Steering is original, please add $1800 to asking price if you would like a power steering kit added. We have enjoyed it for many years now, decking it with Christmas lights and caroling to the neighborhood at holiday season, or just simply enjoying the attention it grabs around friends and family or driving down the road!
The truck had 38,230 original miles on it before being rebuilt. It was originally a farm truck used to haul wheat on a Kansas family farm. I was able to acquire the story of the truck, the family and the farm. It is a uniquely American farm story, and I am glad to have brought this truck, and the story back to life. I will certainly want to send the story with the truck.
This truck has been used for an instagram photo prop at weddings. Because of its height it is excellent for this use! It is also a fantastic get-away vehicle addition for a wedding/event venue.
The Logo on the Door is a removable sticker.
I am now having to sell it because I have several of these trucks and am simply overextended. I hate to see it go, but know it will make someone very proud to own such a piece of American history.
7 years ago it was appraised at $54,000. Asking $33,500
Only serious inquires please. Please see photos, but message me if you need more information before making a purchase.
