Vehicle description

Here we have a ‘47 Dodge pickup and this is NOT a rat rod, but built to to look like one.I have a full set of wide white wall tires mounted on red wire wheels and lakeside headers. The chassis is constructed out of 2”x4” tubing, Z’ed at the rear. Straight axle in the front with disc brakes and fricti9n shocks. The front inside brake covers are made and polished up from aluminum frying pans. The rear end is a Ford with a 3:55 gears on parallel leaf springs. The Dodge cab is chopped and channeled, all glass with side windows that roll up and down. The cab is finished in blitz black paint. I’m a little over 6’1” and I get in and out just fine. The interior is fully finished, head liner, door panels and carpet. Seats and door panels are leather and finished with a spider web theme. The dash is a old Studebaker with the gauges and speedo that are fully functional. It also has a Sun tach by the steering wheel. The pickup bed removes to give access to the rear suspension, exhaust, rear end and fuel tank. Remove 4 more bolts and unplug the the wire loom and remove the whole box. Like I said, I have 2sets of wheels and tires. The ones on the truck are Rocket 16” and 18”wheels with new Yokohama radial tires. The others are ‘Ol Skhool’ Red wires with Gangster wide whites. There is a set of lakeside headers. You can transform it from a current hot rod/ rat rod to a 50’s hot rod. Very cool ! ! The motor is a 350 ci. 330 hp. crate motor, topped with aluminum heads. I stalled a Comp hydraulic roller cam with gear drive that sounds awesome. The intake is a performer topped with vintage 3 - deuce set up and Stromberg 97 carbs. The valve covers are Rare, near perfect, Larson Engineering out Indianapolis, Indiana. Not many left in this condition! The transmision is a great 350 turbo. I will send more pictures upon request for interested parties. I could be interested in some trades, but it will work in my favor. No boats or late model trades! No low ball offers.
