Vehicle Details Chevrolet Other Pickups. 1947 Chevrolet 1 ton Pickup, "1434" model ( US 3800) , from Sask, Canada. Dry, salt free western Canada. It is located in NW Wisconsin about 70 minutes from St. Paul, MN or about 90 minutes drive off Interstate 94.FLOORS NOT RUSTED THROUGH. Only surface rust. Has the battery box lid on floor like it should.Has never ever been driven in MN. Was shipped from W. Canada to pole barn. NO SALT exposure. NO ROTTED CAB CORNERS.Truck has about 40,500 original miles. Engine froze due to water in block back in 1971. Truck has not run since 1971.Truck still has original chalk factory markings under the hood from the assembly line. NO CRACKED GLASS.Has ORIGINAL hang tag also from factory.Has unused and original tailgate.Nothing has been butchered here. Engine is the 216 six with the air cleaner, etc., all where it should be.Dash has not been cut into and still retains the original radio block off plate. There are knobs that control the dumping or tilting bed that have been plumbed through the dash back when truck was new.Truck features a dumping bed-common on farms back then, for hauling grain.Has the original rims, etc., etc.A true BARN FIND.If listing appears is remains available.HAS NO TITLE. BUYER WILL RECEIVE A BILL OF SALE FROM SELLER.Has solid cab corners- no rust, and solid door bottoms- 2 problem areas for these.A great restoration project. Some dents in body and some creases.
