Vehicle description
Very early civilian 1946 Willys Jeep, numbers matching, rare column shift, with few modifications. Complete frame-off restoration. Rebuilt Original Go Devil Engine. New Tub, new metal fenders, hood and windshield frame. Front axles upgraded to U Joint type. After market soft-top, interior seat covers, tub modifications to allow seat to be moved back 4" for the taller driver. New fuel tank, bottom of tub although new was treated with rust prevention, then painted exterior color. Exterior color chosen from what some experts feel is the original colors offered in early 1946. Modifications: electronic ignition distributor, second taillight, aftermarket turn signals, overdrive unit, vacuum booster for brakes, 12V electrical system, 12V wiper system, aftermarket heater, etc. Additional photos can be provided!
