Vehicle Details Fully custom, one of kind 1946 Chevy Pickup. This beautifully built, custom Chevy pickup rides on a fully boxed and x framed chassis with adjustable coil overs, four bar rear suspension, independent front suspension, power rack and pinon steering, four wheel disc brakes, Wilwood master cylinder, custom brake and fuel lines, rolling on a set of 17” Billet Specialties Fairlane wheels and NIitto tires. Powered by a fully built 327 swapped from a 1968 Corvette, electronic ignition and four barrel carburetor, mated to a rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission with a B&M shifter and a custom built Strange 9” posi-rear. The engine flows through dual 2.5” aluminized pipe exhaust (routed through the chassis) and a set of Magnaflow 40s giving a great hot rod sound. Aluminum radiator with custom shroud, Alan Grove brackets, 100 amp alternator, power steering pump and Sanden Air conditioning compressor. Custom details include: Fully welded metal bed with custom pockets and rear fuel door (feeding relocated tank). The cab has been welded for rigidity and stretched for more leg room. The front fenders are now one piece instead of four. Chrome front grille in show polish. Custom front running lights/turn signals. Windshield is glued in with spline for a clean look. One piece hood, custom hinged and latched with interior release. Custom rear valance with license plate and lights. The rear fenders have been widened to accommodate the wide rear tires with widened running boards to match. Interior offers: custom dash, custom seat, power windows, air conditioning (located under the seat with a metal plenum to bring the treated air to the dash), welded and finished upper valance, tilt wheel, fully insulated and finished upholstery (doors, roof, floor, firewall, behind the seat, even under the seat) and a thumping sound system. The windshield wipers have been moved to the bottom of the windshield and are driven by a Newport engineering system. Three point seat belts.All new electrical harness and lights. The original gauges have been reworked to function electronically and look original.
