Vehicle description
This truck has been a 2 owner before me. Was out of the center of North Dakota so good solid old truck. Second owner bought it around 1970 and used it sparingly around his business. Ran it in parades for years. He bought a brand new original gas tank and sending unit, New windshield and gasket, New original style wiring harness, new turn signal switch. Lights are nice and bright, signals work and brake light works, seat is recovered and has a new original style headliner that isn"t completely installed. Truck starts very good and runs good, Engine has new block painted green (no paperwork on it). Brakes have been gone through. I can"t get levers to move to lift the box. Box floor and beams under it are all new. Has side dump door and rear dump door. Tires are old. Original gauges on the dash all work. The top of cab has dents that have been pounded out, hood is bent (can see in picture). Floor inside of cab is very solid. Passenger door has rust stating on bottom edge. Grille is very nice as is front bumper. Title is a North Dakota title in last owners name. You"ll see in a couple before and after pictures that I took my buffer in a couple spots to polish the original paint. If you took the time to buff the whole cab it would clean up pretty decent. Truck right now is sitting outside with snow on it. I can"t guarantee it"ll be running to load on trailer. We"ve had -30 degree weather here for about a week. I will help with loading and if it works out I"ll try to have truck running. With very little work you could be driving this old truck down the road. You don"t see many 1945 Vehicles. Please look at pictures and ask questions before the last day of auction. I do have a couple videos of the old Chevy starting and running. I will post a "buy it now" if we agree on a price. Thanks for looking at my old truck:
