About this vehicle This 1942 Willys-Overland americar is an original. The owner has had it for 5 years. The vehicle is drivable. Seller"s Notes feel free to ask questions Exterior This is a really cool and rare car. Americar was only made in 41 and 42 This is a 442 only 7000 were made. What a find ! No filler or bondo ran magnets over car all metal. Is some damage to fenders see pics not terrible but worth noting I thought.This is a top notch car for hot rod or restore project. Runs and drives does pop out of gear some times do to worn synchro it maybe can be adjusted to fix on the column. It runs and idles so well just amazed with it. Comes with all the paperwork and Manuels pictured. Do have the title for it. Plus all the extra parts pictured and yes there is a spare pair of tail light those are hard to find and rare just like the car in this condition. The red fuel can in trunk is because didn't trust original fuel line and tank was dirt free. Ran a rubber line to run car off fuel can. original tank looks good tho. Paint is flaking shiny black spots I sprayed on in bad spots were paint flaked off and bare metal was showing to stop rust from starting. This sat in a barn for almost 30 yrs.
