Packard Clipper 1941 4 dr Sedan In Restorable Condition This car would be a great candidate for restoring as a Military Staff Car as used by WW 2 Generals Eisenhower & MacArthur And here"s why. Visually outside the Vehicle the closely spaced Horizontal Grille Bars clearly define it as a 1941 & to back that up the Pre War and WarTime Packard Clippers had a rectangular shaped speedo, clock & gage cluster instrument panels as shown here on the newly added pictures showing the interior of this car. Pics showing the Generals: Ike, Mac & Bradley in & near a 41 Packard Clipper came from Internet Archives I know many of you are concerned about the condition of the motor. I am too. The freezing and snowy weather here has prevented me from getting out there under the hood of the 41 Packard to assess the condition of the motor. My gut feeling is that it has compression and will turn over but I can"t say for sure until I get the chance to check it. Hopefully Tomorrow.
