Vehicle description
This 1941 Packard One-Twenty Convertible . Built on a 127″ wheelbase, the car is powered by a 282ci straight-eight and equipped with a 3-speed, column-shifted manual transmission. It is finished in blue over gray leather and features a blue canvas top, chrome bumper overriders, bumper-mounted driving lights, and a Guide spotlight. The car received service two years ago that included a brake system inspection and flush, a carburetor rebuild, and detailing. This Packard is now being offered with a clean title.
1941 Packards saw the elimination of running boards and the blending of the headlights into the pontoon fenders. Rear dual trunk guards were an extra-cost item.
In 2016, the the brake linings and wheel cylinders were inspected, and the hydraulic system was filled with new fluid.
Receipts from the previous owner detail suspension and general maintenance work. Wide whitewall tires are fitted on 15″ steel wheels with chrome covers and accent trim rings.
Interior features include a column-shifer, heater, AM radio, and a clock. 44,840 miles are showing on the odometer. The deluxe four-spoke steering wheel was an optional accessory.
The car features Electromatic clutch and Aero-drive, though there is no word if the systems are functional.
The 282 cubic inch straight-eight features a 6.4:1 compression ratio and produced 120 horsepower at 3,600 rpm and 225 lb-ft of torque at 1,800 rpm from the factory. Carburetor rebuilt after acquiring the car two years ago.
