This truck was ordered new by the city of Clarkesville, GA, as a fire truck and used for many years. In its second life here, it"s a fun display vehicle and toy hauler. The original water tank was removed and replaced with an easy extend ramp and deck setup for hauling around a motorcycle, while it retains its external appearance and fire accessories. It"s a total crowd pleaser, and you can"t help but giggle when the Sterling Sirenlite horn on the fender gets fired up! The body and cab are in excellent condition and the deep black paint looks great against the chrome trim and red accessories. Open the hood and you"ll find a nicely detailed 239ci flathead V8, dressed with chrome head nuts, a chrome air cleaner and chrome water pipes. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator while power is sent back through a 4 speed manual transmission. Inside you"ll find more shiny black paint, a custom upholstered bench seat with red piping and an embroidered Indian motorcycle logo, turn signals and auxiliary gauges. 1941 Trucks were all business and this one is no exception!
