About this vehicle This 1941 Chevrolet Special DeLuxe is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. The good: 54K original miles. Am the 3rd owner. Runs and handles amazingly well. Trans shifts beautifully. (See video link) Tight suspension. No fluid leaks at all. 4 brand new period correct Coker brand tires ($1800 total. Just installed). Brand new 6V battery. Complete valve job done at 47,000 miles. New exhaust system. New brakes. Master cylinder refresh. Floor boards and frame super solid (no rust or deterioration at all). Gas tank cleaned out and conditioned. New coil, plugs, distributor cap, rotor. Condenser, wires about 1000 miles ago. Willing to drive car to a pick-up location for you within a reasonable distance. Requires attention: Driver-side rear fender got bumped and requires repair or swap out (have a perfect replacement). Front driver's fender a little bumpy in about a 10 inch circle. Maybe it's a dent that was banged out? Needs some body work and fresh paint (in my opinion. some tell me to leave original. It is). Rear fender welting needs replacing. Hole in drivers seat. Some exposed wiring in engine bay needs replacing due to insulation cracked off but still functions. Door gaskets require replacing. Missing engine oil cap. Left at a gas station on last fill-up when I checked the oil. Have a cut-off soda can in its place.
