Vehicle description
Here we go again. . I"ve pulled this off several times because I keep changing my mind. I keep buying other cars and am out of room. . I can"t express how I hate to see this go. Truth is I just don"t need it taking up garage space. Clean and clear title in hand. It wouldn"t take much to make this a nice driver quality car that could be enjoyed for not a lot of investment. I plan on doing some freshening up this winter if somebody doesn"t buy it this round. I had it on here before but ended it so my Uncle and I could take it to the last local cruise in of the year. What a fun time! California car! ! It was owned by an avid collector and club member. I bought the car from a finance company in Southern California and had it shipped here to Missouri. I have clean and clear title in my hand with no liens. As I understand it was painted back in the 70s. Engine rebuilt in the 80s. Fires right up and runs and drives well. Started it the other day in 15 degree weathe, fired right up. Throw out bearing was noisy went away after running. Good oil pressure even at idle warm. Does not overheat. This one has several options including "elephant ear" bumper ends, rear window sunshade, radio. Tires are old. Right rear brake cylinder leaking. Somebody using less than clear judgement put speakers in the doors at some point. Interior needs a LOT of attention. It does have a lot of chips and scratches. Although it looks amazing in the pictures the fact remains it"s a 10 footer. Walking by the car and looking at it it looks amazing. Again it"s a California car and is very solid. It"s not a show car. It"s driver quality with an 80 year old original interior. Inspections are welcomed. I"m not out to hurt anybody-I want you to understand your not buying a showpiece here. PLEASE READ THIS: I"m not taking less for it so please don"t bother asking. I feel the price is fair, you may not agree and you are certainly entitled to your opinion. The market will dictate the price. Also, NO TRADES-Don"t ask! I won"t respond. I don"t have the time nor the patience. Sorry to sound harsh but it"s the simple reality. If your a SERIOUS buyer you can reach me at 816-604-8094. Im only interested in talking to serious cash buyers. Check my 100 percent positive feedback, it speaks for itself and I intend to keep it that way. I assure you the first person to see this car will shake my hand and count out the dough! If that doesn"t happen, believe me guys I"m prepared to hold onto it and enjoy it. It saddens me to see the decline in interest for these prewar cars. I"m in my mid forties and all of my "toys" are pre war. Problem for me is I"m a very wishy washy person as far as toys go, I fall in love fast and hard but my interest can be "redirected" as soon as something new is dropped in front of me. True, I bought this car as a flip. Doesn"t mean I don"t have feelings just like anybody that appreciates these machines. Believe me, it will be a bittersweet transaction for me should someone decide to take it. Do your research on these before spouting off about my price-I know this car is worth what it"s priced at. I won"t respond to any negativity-lifes too short.
