About this vehicle This 1940 Ford 2 door sedan is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows. Vehicle Details This 1940 Ford has a 302 Ford motor along with a C-4 transmission, mustang II front end and a Ford 9 inch rear end. This car is fully loaded with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and tilt steering wheel. There are a couple of very minor defects in the paint. The interior is in excellent condition with NO rips or tears. You will notice the car has “shaved” door handles but the remote control is missing. I usually just reach in through the wing windows to open the car. The car starts and runs good. I took it in trade for a personal debt so I’ve only had the car a few months. The few things I’ve done to make it a better car is that I put 4 brand new tires, new battery, rebuilt carburetor. I’ve only driven the car for approx 300 miles and have come to realize there’s a few things that need to be addressed. While driving and engaging the cruise control the car accelerates so That needs repair. The rear of the car is on an air bag system that, in my opinion is just junk and needs replacing. The air conditioning system blows cool air but not cold air. The heater seems to work fine. I would estimate the build on this car to be approximately 20 years old. I’m sorry I cannot get to a lift to put the car up for under carriage photos but from what I have seen there’s nothing fancy or special going on under there. There also does not appear to be anything wrong. I took the car to a hot rod mechanic for a safety inspection and he said she is just “a good ol’ girl for the occasional weekend car show”. This car is being sold as is, where is and is available for on site inspection prior to purchase.
