This car had been in storage since 1987 until I bought it 2 years ago. It had been repossessed by a bank in east Texas and the title had never been transferred. I went to the bank and the president remembered the car the previous owner and they issued a new release. I am holding a clean and clear title in my name. The car is showing 78K miles which, I believe to be correct. It had been repainted and new interior probably in the early eighties. The body has zero rust that I can find. (no guarantees) All chrome and stainless are in excellent condition. The bumpers look brand new. The grill is totally perfect with no dents. I do have the running boards. I started the engine about a year ago. It ran fine and did not smoke. These old flat head sixes are bullet proof. I did not drive it because it has no brakes. The car is great for restoring. I do restorations but, I"ve got other projects that have higher priorities.
