1940 DODGE D22 BUSINESS COUPE
This car runs, drives and stops under its own power. Starts right up even after sitting. Alternator charges and the battery is good. Most lights work along with tach and gauges. Will need some attention as it sat for a few years in my garage. THE GOOD. . . . . . THE BAD (ASS). . . . . THE UGLY. . . . . . .
THE GOOD All steel original body in very good to excellent condition with some exceptions (see UGLY) New 215/70R-14 Jetzon Revenger front tires and 235/60R-14 (85%) Jetzon Revenger rear tires 14 inch Keystone Custom Classic 5 spoke mag wheels in excellent condition with new lug nuts Power front disc brakes Power rack and pinion steering Power windows (need finished) Tachometer (works) Gauge package (works) Cloth bucket seat interior w/fold down rear seat (carpet is good) New gas tank Floor shifter Floors are solid. No holes or rust through THE BAD (ASS) 383 Cubic Inch MOPAR engine with 2 barrel carburetor 727 Torqueflite Automatic Transmission 8-3/4 Rear Headers with duel Flowmaster exhaust Lakewood Traction Bars THE UGLY Tail lights. They are functional (brake and driving). I was going to French them using quart juice cans and set them back into the body so the tips stuck out parallel to the ground. Gas pedal needs to go. Interior needs finished. Dash instrument panel need attention and finished. Trunk hinges need replaced with interior style ones. Rear panel across the pack need finished. All bright metal needs attention or replaced. All glass (flat) should be replaced. Hood is pitted and rusty but not rusted through. Very salvageable. Car sat for two years in my shop and all mechanics should be gone over and checked. e.g. tune-up, brakes lighting etc. Shocks are not mounted. (have one pair only).
NON REFUNDABLE $500 deposit required within three days of end of auction via PAYPAL. Balance in CASH, BANK CHECK or BANK TRANSFER within 7 days of end of auction.
