You are bidding on a 1940 Chevy Coupe Straight Axle Gasser. I purchased this car from the grandson on the original owner. His grandfather bought the car new in 1940,his dad turned it into a straight axle gasser in the 60s the car got hit in the driverside door and the car was stored in a barn since. Car had a drivetrain from a wrecked 1958 corvette put in it. The engine and Trans are gone,but it still has the corvette rear end. It has a straight axle 6 lug axle in the front. Hood has been Louvered. Car is very solid . Floors,trunk floor and frame very solid. Does come with original grille.Wood inside and inside the trunk is very nice. Does have a couple rust holes in rear body panel as seen in the pictures. Comes as seen barn fresh. Amazingly solid 1940 Coupe. Car does roll and steer for easy loading. Comes with a bill of sale. A 500.00 non refundable deposit is due immediately car must be paid in full in 3 days. Can work with you on time to arrange pickup.
