Vehicle description
Vehicle Details I bought this 1939 Pontiac Business Coupe about 10 years ago as a partial vehicle. I've gathered the majority of parts to complete the car. I am not a body person and therefor not willing to tackle restoring the body itself. I've restored the rolling chassis. I have sat the body back onto the frame and that's how its getting sold. What you see is what you get.Frame has been certified straight, then painted with POR-15, all new bushings, new bearings, new coil and leaf springs, shocks front and rear. The engine, transmission and rear end have 1600 miles on them and I have not opened them or rebuilt them. It is probably easier to answer questions about what's new, as most is new. The body I disassembled and braced the inside to remove the bad body panels and that is where the project stalled. The body paint has been stripped and is still mostly bare metal. Hood, rear fenders, doors, trunk are all included and still painted green. The front fenders that come with the car are cut and not complete fenders, they do include headlights though.Car is being sold exactly as pictured. Restored rolling chassis with bare body sitting on top, with fenders, doors, hood and trunk. I can help push onto a trailer and need the car gone within 30 days. I have over $10,000 into this vehicle and will not sell for less than the opening bid. If you are serious about this I'd suggest you view the car in person. Now if the auction price hits $5000, I will include all parts I have for the car which include everything you can't find. These parts are not pictured. Images Download the Motors app
