Vehicle description
1939 Plymouth P7 sedan project. Custom frame with ToyotaSupra/Lexus SC front suspension assembly, and triangulated 4-link rear suspension. Custom frame made from 1/8" (11 ga) steel. Main rails are 2" x 6" rectangular tubing. Cross bracing can be seen in pics. Body shell has been sandblasted and epoxy primered. New floor pans and firewall from 16 ga metal. Frame is painted. Body is bolted to the frame with new bushings. Underside of body treated with U-POL Raptor bedliner. Fenders and hood loosely attached for the pics. Steering wheel has been narrowed, but needs finishing. Mercedes 10-way power seats and switches are included. No fuel tank. No engine or transmission. New Griffin radiator with used Ford 2-speed cooling fan and associated wiring and relays included. Rear end is a used Ford Explorer 8.8” 3.73 ratio limited slip. This rear end is slightly too narrow for the frame for proper brake line clearance. Rear disc brakes not included. Coilovers shown in pics are NOT included. Tach not included. Wheels and tires shown in pics are NOT included. Rollers with tires unsuitable for driving are included. Original stainless trim includes some extra pieces. Two complete sets of dash trim are included, one original brown and the other blue green. One glove box door has an apparent signature by Ed Iskenderian (Isky cam developer). Original gauges in unknown condition. No engine or transmission. Motor and transmission mounts are for a Toyota 1JZ turbo engine. Project was yard driven a while back, but the engine became so valuable that it was sold. Bear Claw door latches have been fitted and tacked in, but door opening mechanisms are not installed. Door bottoms will require patch panels. Fenders, grille and hood are in very good but not perfect condition. Only surface rust on fenders, hood and grille, except in light buckets on rear fenders. Sold with bill of sale and current Alabama registration (Alabama does not title cars this old) Sold as is, with no warranty of any kind expressed or implied.
