Why This Vehicle is Special:
The Packard Eight was a luxury automobile produced by Packard between 1930 and 1938, and was a progression from the earlier Packard Six which was first introduced in 1913.
This car is incredibly rare with less than 23,000 of these models ever made. How many exist today?
Mechanical:
Our Packard we have here at Skyway has independent front suspension, hydraulic brakes and 110hp from its 282cid Inline 8 cylinder engine giving excellent performance, quiet, relaxed highway cruising and it is fitted with sporting open coachwork on this convertible coupe body, the style, flair and those lucky enough to own and drive one, set it apart from its competition.
Exterior:
It is particularly handsomely presented in dark Blue complemented by a lovely dark blue cloth top. It has a jump seat for the occasional passenger and is equipped with dual enclosed side-mounted spares, fog lights and wide white wall tires that go beautifully with its dark blue paint.
The paint and chrome area both in fantastic condition. No dents or dings to be found, with only a few minor blemishes.
Interior:
The interior is done in a Dove Grey leather upholstery, grey carpeting and tastefully matching navy and tan accents that really make the colors stand out. The seats and top are in good condition, but one seat does have a small tear in it by the driver end of the bench. Floors, and panels are in fantastic condition.
Conclusion:
It has been carefully maintained while only being taken out for occasional use and enjoyment. It is still in excellent condition ready to be shown with pride and driven with satisfaction.
It is one of the most prestigious and attractive automobiles of the era and it is ready to be shown and enjoyed on the field by its new owner. In all likelihood, it is one of the finest of this model that survives today.
