Vehicle description
This Jaguar SS100 replica/kit was from Antique &Classic Automotive, Inc. Buffalo, NY and appears to be a first-generation design. The car mechanically is sound with 14574 kilometers on the odometer. This car was bought a few years ago to use in local car outings. Ford 2.0 liter 4 cylinder with C3 automatic transmission and Ford rear end. Volkswagen front end and suspension on a square tube chassis. Runs and drives great.
In the past years it has new tires, alternator, battery, starter, brakes and master cylinder. Headlights, brake lights, tail lights, and turn signals all function properly as do the speedometer and tachometer. The balance of the dash mounted gauges do need attention but after market below dash gauges are working. It has an electric radiator fan but it isn"t hooked up, the engine driven fan cools just fine, even at parade speeds. The body has some nicks, scratches with limited rust, the interior is decent however there is no driver"s side inner door panel. It has a convertible top with no tears. It is registered in ca in 1971 as a Ford under the donor’s car vin number.
