Unfortunately, a couple of 12 year old pranksters bid the car up and thought it was funny. Am forced to relist. Will NOT accept bidders with fewer than 10 transactions.
. Daytona Automotive built approximately 80 Daytona Moya bodies in 1980-81. They are a blend of early 40"s Bugatti and Morgan roadsters of the era. Very few were completed and driven. This one uses a 1975 VW Beetle chassis and running gear. It has the original blue gel coat finish, in excellent condition. (very few small scratches in the 38 year old finish) The car runs and drives beautifully. The original owner installed the dual fender mounts which really set off the car. The fenders and body are steel reinforced, and the fiberglass extra heavy. I recently installed a complete aftermarket wiring harness, new carburetor, tuneup, etc. It runs strong, no smoke. Very quick. Weighs just 1450 pounds.
THE CAR HAS A CLEAR COLORADO TITLE. SINCE IT WAS ORIGINALLY A KIT CAR, THE KANSAS HIGHWAY PATROL ASSIGNED A VIN NUMBER WHEN IT WAS BUILT. . . IT DOES HAVE A CLEAR TITLE THAT MATCHES THE HP ASSIGNED VIN. . Car is blue, not black. Trades considered.
