I needed to relist for third time due to deadbeat winning bidders . Therefor I"m listing at a fixed price and lowering it by $500. I bought this car some years ago because it was an exact copy of my first car that I bought in 1949 with two buddies for $15 dollars each. We drove it through our high school years when we could afford gas which was 25 cents a gallon. This car has a solid no rust through body. It is mechanically excellent with great oil pressure,etc. The original radio works great and comes with a full set of extra tubes. The car has had a very unprofessional (me) restoration over the years. Including the brakes, new exhaust . new interior-with the exception of the seats-, new gas tank and tires. It"s mostly original with the exception of seal beam headlights and electric windshield wipers. Extra parts include a spare starter, spare generator,door handles, window cranks ,etc Also included is a factory repair manual and an original owners manual. I admit to leaving many areas that need improving. The headliner installation is crude and should be improved and there"s a tear over the front passenger seat that I patched.I"m including yards of upholstery cloth and welting to make improvements One lamination in the windshield is cracked where some bozo (not me) tried to crank it out when it was stuck. It"s still solid and doesn"t leak.The paint has chips and cracks and could use touching up and I"m sure there are flaws that I"ve learned to live with and don"t recall. But, it"s a damn good old car as it stands.The car is registered in Connecticut which does not issue a title for older cars. With the paperwork provided,that should not make registering in any state a problem. The car can be inspected at my home but being old and without a spleen (no antibodies) I take masks and social distancing very seriously. We won"t be in the car at the same time. Shipping at buyers expense. I"ll assist as necessary. $500 down payment with Paypal within 24 hours of close. Balance in certified funds prior to pick up .I should have mentioned other departures from the original car. They include: turn signals, an electrical shut off switch, and an electric fuel pump that I use to deliver fuel from the gas tank to the carb. during long periods of non use.
