The stunning beauty of this carefully reproduced classic is a sight to behold. This is a sportscar whose quality is more than skin deep. Original 1937 Jaguar SS100"s are one of the most sought after collector sportscars because of the attention to detail. This reproduction kit captures all of those details and is a league by itself. A true head-turner, this machine is an attention-getter and conversation starter wherever it travels. Only 355 miles on this beauty since completion of the build. The chassis and drivetrain is that of a 1973 VW beetle. Powered by a 1600cc engine and manual transmission. Brand new Firestone performance tires and Interstate battery. Dash mounted Kenwood CD player and Kenwood speakers. Tan retractable soft top that can also be removed all together on those 70 degree sunny days. Also included, but not pictured, are snap-on tan/clear window covers for those chilly mornings. Many documents are included (pictured) with purchase such as the original SS-100 Assembly manual, original VW Beetle owner"s manual, price list for SS-100 conversion kit, and VW Beetle Service manual.
Years ago, the conversion kit itself was priced just shy of $13,000 (pictured). This did not include the chassis, drivetrain, or any labor costs.
