1937 Chevrolet Master Business Coupe Delivery.
California Barn Find Built at the Oakland California plant, paint code reads 215, Gaselle Brown. Car has been parked since 1989. The 216 six cyl. engine turns over with an original hand crank which is included. Includes rare Coupe Delivery slide in pick-up bed with both chains. Also has heater box, radio head w/cables and radio box, Master Deluxe twin horns. Sealed beam headlights and period correct single tail light are not wired up. Seat is nice, interior needs both door"s glass, door panels and handles. Needs headliner and carpet. 84 year old California car has some dents and dings, including the left rear fender and body panel. The spare tire compartment won’t accommodate the spare tire because of a dent on the floor pan. The original grill is very nice and includes brand new reproduction grill emblem. The hood ornament’s rear mounting base is broken but should be still useable. The grill’s cowl has dents and pinholes. Body rust includes the bottom right rear quarter panel, the bottoms of both doors, and across the bottom back roll pan below the trunk, small spots on the floorboard. Full disclosure, the worst rust is underneath the outer layer of the lower radiator support, but Chevrolet built these cars with solid steel so that’s more cosmetic than structural. Please see all photos! Has 5 period correct rims with beauty rings and 4 new repro hubcaps, + 4 original road worn hubcaps. Original trunk lid included but has some rough spots.
