Vehicle description

1937 Cadillac Series 60 Special - Survivor Touring Sedan, a true survivor. All original except for maintenance wear items. This car was in the same family for over 80 years, then spent some time in an museum in Las Vegas and was recently purchased out of a museum in Jefferson, TX. It runs and drives very well! More pictures are available upon request, as well as a video of it upon a cold start, driving, sifting, and stopping. Some history about this vehicle make:The exterior was designed by the Legendary Harley Earl with a sleek grille and split "vee"-shaped windshields. The body rides atop the newly introduced "knee-action" independent coil spring front suspension, which was designed by Maurice Olley, a former Rolls-Royce engineer, this feature makes it a great car to drive! The Series 60 was an important model for Cadillac, because it continued its proud tradition of stylish bodies with exceptional performance. The Great Depression forced many automobile manufacturers into bankruptcy but fortunately the Series 60 helped carry Cadillac through a rough time in history. 1937 was also the second year of the Cadillac Flathead V-8 motor.
