1936 Cord Westchester body Probably the only one now a Rat Rod on the planet. Approximately 1130 bodies were made for 1936 & 37 combined production. Chassis is 2x4" box tube, 140" wheelbase, rear assembly is a 4-bar coil-over system with everything new in the Ford 9"" with 4:11 gears. 454 Big Block Chevy, ex-gasser engine, 850 Holley double pumper, super aggressive very loud headers. hangs on the 1/4" plate firewall with turbo 400 trans and seating for two on the other side. Removable steering wheel makes it easier to get in and out of the suicide doors when you"re laid down. A unique front suspension of air bags mounted to 1/4" plate firewall push forward via tube struts to the bell-crank which pushes down on the axle - lifting the car. Bell crank pivots on modified Model A Ford axles. 1940 Ford front axle is dropped and has new brakes and king pins. Huge aluminum radiator, air compressor, tank and system along with the fuel cell are in the rear. Body was wedge cut 4" in front doors have been re-worked to match. Body, floor and roll cage bolt together. Dashboard in machine turned bronze sheet with antique twist-lock switches from a tug boat.
