Vehicle description
THIS IS NOT A FINISHED CAR! !
It is a KIT from which you can finish to a Show Quality Car in a matter of months. It has a complete rolling chassis with the Fiberglass body sitting on the Chassis [NOT bolted down] . It is towable the way it is.
Many of these exact cars have been finished providing their Owners with a solid strong Car for the Streets or Show. I have seen this exact car sold on TV Auctions for over $45,000.
I jumped up and down on the front fender of this model completed at a Car Show and there was no problems at all. A very strong fiberglass Lay-Up construction.
The chassis is complete except for rear brakes, steering column linkage and rear springs/shocks. Rear Axle is rigidly attached and is from a "92 Turbo Mustang and is set up for disc brakes. The Front Axle Assy. was purchased from Speedway Motors [2"drop] and is chrome/SST. A welded SST fuel tank w/fittings is also included.
The chassis was originally set up for a FORD series FE engine, more specifically a 428 cu. in. CObra Jet Engine. This brings me to why I am selling this Kit Pkg. The Engine [new] was stolen with all accessories out of my Shop and I cannot afford to build up another. My disgust for the "low lifes" that now seem to be everywhere in our society has no limits. The Police proved to be useless. I am 82 years old and too tired and poor to finish this car any longer. Let my dream now be yours! !
All basic parts to complete to a nice street car are supplied except as noted, i.e., the "drive train", exhaust, rear disc brakes, master brake cylinder, fuel lines, wiring, electrical switches and paint. The body has been fine sanded with 800 grit to prep for painting. The chassis metal has been painted silver as have all steel parts longer than 22". Shorter parts have been powder coated in silver. Even the glass and bumpers are included.
The price I am asking is $4,000 lower than my cost for the basic Kit when purchased from Street Beasts in Miami, FL. And, of course, there has been considerable work performed and parts added to the package since then. Estimated investment to date is $23,000 +. This is a real bargain for a serious Buyer. I have an "Origin Title" to make registration easy when the car is finished.
I will consider items of trade [other running vehicles, firearms, etc.] but CASH IS KING! The chassis can be towed but would be better if loaded on a Car Hauler or Trailer. Write with any questions and my phone number if you want to discuss. Ridiculous offers will be discarded w/o reply! !
THANKS to all that have responded and discussed various topics with me. Our conversations are very enjoyable. As time passes, perhaps we can do some business.
I will furnish my phone number to serious Buyers. I live in NM. This Project can be easily packaged and towed.
