Vehicle description
1934 Ford old STEEL street rod project with a long history . It has a Buick 430 drive train, runs drives and stops. Car sits on a modified 34 frame, boxed rear with leaf springs, lowering blocks and Ford rear. The front is a dropped straight axel, split wish bone and disc brakes. Just got some history from a previous owner (FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO LIKE HISTORY), it at first have a v8 flat head motor and when his mother totaled her Buick Wildcat he put that 430 motor and trans. in it. It was owned and built by Walter Brooks back in 1962 Richie Willette did a lot of work on it, Walter was a member of Boston area roadsters. He is in Florida somewhere, some of the older members of the club still remember the car if you have patience you can look thru h.a.m.b. you will find pics of it is section about (east coast hot rods) " Walter Brooks 34 tub". I took it to Dedham MA. Endicott estate about 5 or 6 years ago and a lot of older people recognised it from way back. Richie Willette and another older guy Lenny Biondi are still around at the shows they gave me a lot of info on it. Biondi owned Biondis service center in Quincy MA, he is long ago retired but Biondis is still there he may still own the place he has dozens of his hotrods stored near there. Any more questions call me at last two pictures are whewn it was on the road years ago. .
