Vehicle description
1934 Ford Roadster Convertible kit car. Finished 12 years ago. Professionally built Chevy 350/350 engine and trans, power steering, power brakes, power windows, heat and a/c, flaming river column, lokar floor shifter, manual convertible top, coil over suspension, mustang II front end, posi rear end.
Only 2900 miles on this ‘34 Roadster-style kit car! Longest drive was from Florida to Virginia, this car was built to cruise!
History: Innovative Street Machines (aka Street Beasts) "34 Cabriolet kit car (out of Plantation Florida) was purchased in October of 2003 for an original cost of $20,432.00 which included the body, frame, front and rear suspension, tweed interior and black carpet. The car was originally shipped to St. Croix, Virgin Islands but we quickly realized the local shops were not capable of doing this kind of work. The car was then shipped back to Florida to Pompano Lincoln Mercury in Pompano Beach, where the majority of the mechanical, body and paint work was completed. We have meticulous records on all parts, build services, etc. There was 10k in paint/bodywork, and another 7k in parts just at Pompano Beach Lincoln Mercury, alone. We recently totaled up all receipts: in excess of $50,000.
Once the car was finished, it was shipped back to the island of St. Croix for cruise nights. Eventually, it was decided to move it up to Virginia where the family could enjoy more often, and it was shipped back to Florida, and then driven up to Virginia, no issues along the way.
It is official titled in Virginia as a 1934 Ford, VIN # L4172, we still have the Street Machines build tag corresponding to that VIN.
This car was built to cruise, but has all of the professional touches to make it a reliable weekend driver, and show winner; Bid with confidence!
