About this vehicle This 1932 Ford Roadster is a restored vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is not regularly driven. Vehicle Details “The Historic Bill Roadster” 1932 Ford roadster built by Bill Peterson and Dee Wescott in 1955 out of a perfect original 31’ Roadster. This is you chance to own one of the most-significant and beautiful 32’ Fords of all-time! This car won the 56’ Portland Roadster Show and is a Portland Roadster Show Hall of Fame car! September of 1957 was featured two pages in Hotrod magazine. In 1958 Bill Peterson traded the 32’ to famous hot rodder Bob Tindle “Orange Crate 32’ Sedan” for a new 1958 Impala. Bob took the car to The Oakland Roadster Show where it won the “Street Roadster” class! In September 1960 the car was the cover and centerfold car in Hotrod magazine. The car has been featured in other publications throughout the years. The car never changed with the times. The car was maticulously disasssembled and a 5-year $150,000 cosmetic and mechanical restoration done by one of the best builders in the world Mr. Dale Withers! The car has never seen the street since and has only been trailered to one indoor show since. The roadster is impeccable in every way. Every moving part has been rebuilt with all NOS Ford parts at no expense spared. Powered by a 1940 Mercury Flathead V8, a 1939 Ford transmission and 1940 banjo rear differential. The roadster was finished in Red Festival Laquer. I have show boards made from the feature magazine articles. The car now has Coker big and little wide whites I also have another set of restored wheels with a set of NOS U.S. Royal Master tires depending if you want the Bill Peterson look or the Bob Tindle look!
