Beautiful "1931 Studebaker Commander "70 in excellent condition. Older restoration, of this rare automobile. Interior was done in gray mohair, carpeting is like new. Head liner has 2 small holes that are unnoticeable and interior light works also. Has rare, rear view mirror with Studebaker electric clock and it runs. All gauges function as does speedometer. Garnish molding and dash are original wood grained. All door and windshield glass was replaced when the car was restored. The leatherette top on the roof of the body is in perfect condition without any holes or tiers. There are not any dents in ether body or fenders and absolutely no rust. The finish is nice and looks like it was just done. This is a 2 tone painted car. The radiator shell, and bumpers have been Chromium triple plated as is the Ovaloid head lamp shells and trim rings. Brakes are mechanical and were recently done. Engine runs strong and does not use oil or smoke. There is some indication that the engine may have been rebuilt. All water hoses have been replaced and engine temperature is normal. Exhaust is good and there are no leaks. The tires are 700-19 Bedford Cord and are in good condition. Wooden artillery wheels were restored and you can travel 35 to 40 m.p.h. without any vibration. Transmission is 3 speed with Free Wheeling and shifts nice with syncro 2nd and 3rd gear. You may view this automobile by appointment only. Because of the winter and ice I will not drive this car for a test drive unless the roads are clear. Should you make the purchase of this car I can store it for a short amount of time till you can arrange your transportation. You will have to insure this car upon it"s purchase.
