Vehicle description

The roadster is all steel , no fiberglass. The Engine is a Flathead engine. . The engine is a 59-A 1946 Ford with a Potvin Super 3/4 cam. It is bored out to 3 and 5/16 inches and has an aluminum flywheel with a borg-beck centrifugal pressure plate assembly, All this drives through a transmission with has 26-tooth Lincoln Zephyr Gears,. The rear is from a 1936 Ford with 3:78 gears. All of this was modified to fit the Model A Dimensions. Stock Model A shocks are used with stock front and rear springs with some leaves removed to soften the ride. The radiator and grill shell are 1932 Ford items. Headlights are also 1932. The headlights are in place, but not connected. Furthermore, the rear Model A frame had 1932 type rear frame horns (extensions) added along with a 1932 gas tank and the rear of the car mimics a 1932 in looks. I do not have bumpers. The steering wheel is from a 1938 Ford Deluxe. The steering shaft and gear box is a 1961 V-W Bus item. Surprisingly, the VW Bus fits the Ford Frame and interior just perfectly in it"s original form. Even the Ford Steering wheel bolts up to the VW steering shaft. Wild, huh? VW parts fitting an old Ford? It looks as if it came from the Ford Factory just like that. The dash is an after market "PlAIN" 32 type dash that is made to fit Model A Fords. I used a 1933 Ford Dash Panel insert with all original 1933 speedometer, amp, Gauge & Tamp. Gauge. All works well and looks good. I love the 1933 Dash panel. .reminds me of the thousands of times I spent looking at the dash over the years. I think I like the 1933 stuff so much because I was born in 1933. All of the fasteners are new. and authentic. New master cylinder. Every component is plated or painted with new fasteners. It is beautiful! !
