Vehicle description
1931 Ford Model A Pickup Original owner from 1964. Sat in garage for about 35 years and rebuilt/restored in 2001 Completely custom steel body and frame with shortened pickup bed. 1965 401 CU IN Buick Nail Head motor Holley performance dual feed carburetor with electric choke Custom made side pipes from Cobra mustang Electric cooling fan Custom rear Corvette suspension 4:11 Gear ratio Automatic 3 speed Buick Dynaflow Transmission with shift kit installed BF Goodrich Radial T/A Tires - 295/50R15 (Rear) 215/65R15 (Front) Rear drum brakes Alpine Stereo AM/FM/CD Mechanical wise, this truck starts right up and runs great. The side pipes should be re welded and refinished as there is a small exhaust leak on the passenger side. The Front drum shoes were removed from wear and are discontinued. I recommend a front disc brake conversion in the future to be completely safe. Body wise, the paint is chipping in various spots that I have highlighted with orange collision marker. Both front doors, cab corners, tailgate corners, front of cowl and under roof visor will need to be repainted. This truck was painted twenty years ago and is showing its age. It has been garaged its entire life and taken out a few times each summer. Very fun to drive and a head turner everywhere. More pictures are available upon request if needed.
