1931 FORD STREET ROD An exceptionally classy California built Model-A Street Rod out of Long Beach. Built with NEW parts. I traveled to California twice to check this car out and shipped it to New England in 2010. No flames, no skulls, no expense spared. This rod has real class! Built to have the appearance of a stock model A from a distance. Looks like an original car but has all the modern “go!” Original body is an all-steel Ford Fordor Murry Towncar. Yes, it’s 4-door… so you can take the family or have room to store your luggage and coolers! Two-tone grey and black body in excellent condition and the interior was restored to look period original. Even the dash looks original, with gauges and controls tucked under the front seat. The re-build history of the small block Chevy engine was unknown so I decided to replace it with a brand new Crate Engine from Speedway- installed this past winter and no miles since. I haven’t had time to finish tuning the carb and one of the chrome valve covers needs to be re-sealed. Chevy 350 3-3peed auto trans (from a 1977 GMC pickup). TCI Frame, 4-inch Drop super Bell Front Axel, 9” Ford Rearend with Coil overs, new Chrome shocks, Mustang Front Disk Brakes with Heavy duty Galaxy rear brakes. New aluminum radiator, new MSD Electronic Distributor (Probuilt 8360). New Holley Carb (Quickfuel 650 with dual feed) new Fuel Pump. NOTE :REAL KNOCKOFF 15” CHROME WIRE WHEELS (not the cheap Bolt on style) fitted with brand new front radial tires. Includes an air-conditioning compressor not installed.
