It is hard to believe that the golden age of automobiles was happening at the same time as the Great Depression …. How many more cars would have been built and sold if financial times were good ? Millions probably. . . Anyway, I purchased this Classic 1930 Studebaker from the previous owner, Mr. Sharkey almost 2 years ago and finished the restoration he started on years ago with particularly the engine being the most challenging , but it got finished and runs smooth like a quality watch It has a black cloth convertible top with side curtains that you can install to keep out the weather ( if you ever would need them) It has the 250 cid Flathead InLine 8 engine that was making headlines at Studebaker and around the world for durability and performance. . . twice the cylinders and horsepower of the Model A It has been painted and detailed , and has beautiful exterior chrome thruout
