I have had this truck for many years. it is a good driver. it runs way to fast for me anymore. it will scare you, if you have any sense. I haven"t driven it in over a year. it just to hard for me to get in and out nowadays. I have been told by two different people that this is probably a von dutch build. it was built in 1975. one guy was from calif. and he swore it was unmistakeably von dutch. I don"t know, I have never researched it. the truck had 10,000 miles on it when I bought it.i have put about 1500 on it in15 yrs.this build is still original except I put floor shift in it and replaced pinto type emergency brake handle with orig. type. I have kept it serviced once a year, not for mileage but time. the truck shows really well and is usually a show winner. the paint is lacquer and has crazing on roof and fenders. it has a bad spot on rear fender as shown in pics. It has been there ever since I "ve had it. I thought about having it built again a few years ago, but everyone said don"t do anything to it, so I didn"t. info I was given-engine 283 chevy/chevy auto trans. and 57 chevy rearend.interior in good shape. this truck has never seen rain or bad weather since I have owned it. this truck is for sale locally. questions? larry 469-585-4073. no ans, leave message,medical situation, I will return asap. thanks
