After selling my exclusive vehicle business, I decided to once again offer top value, one-of-a-kind, classic, antique, and unique vehicles at reasonable prices. The exciting 1930 Model A Ford offered here is a prime example. A cool 1930 Ford Model A is not a vehicle you find every day - let alone, one that is restored with a professionally rebuilt engine. You will not find a better running Model A.
There are not many places it will not go. The owner used it around his acreage including hayrides, hill climbing, fishing, and all-around fun. It draws a crowd and a big part of the fun is showing it off. It runs like a top and looks just as good. It has been 100 % dependable. Starts on a dime every time.
Engine
The engine is professionally rebuilt using modern technology. No shortcuts. The valves and seats are stainless steel. Use regular gas, no additives needed. The carburetor was rebuilt. It has all new wiring using a new 12-volt system . No concern to get in and hope it starts. It starts easily 100% of the time. The starter is a new high torque starter. Turns over and sounds like a modern vehicle. The water pump is new . Hydraulic rear brakes are new. The engine and engine compartment are spotlessly clean. It has 2-3 speed transmissions, use low on trails, at the beach, or campground. Pull a trailer, go on a hayride or drive on the ranch. The high speed will go as fast as you dare.
Exterior
The body is straight and sports beautifully finished silver paint. The seat was hand-built - room for two with a single belt. There are six lights and they all work. The tails are genuine glass and are blue dot. Really nice. The cowl lights are brand new . All 4 tires are brand new . The wheels are new , powder-coated, and painted.
Back when the Model T was new, the trend was that owners removed the upper deck of the T and bolted a pickup box in its place offering room for supplies and cargo. One of those boxes was retrofitted to this car. It is really handy and now you have a roadster, and/or a pickup. The metal case in the back is a double-walled icebox. It will keep drinks and food cold. It is removable and has two carrying handles with a separate compartment for ice. The tailgate drops down and has fitted chain supports. Plenty of room for groceries, fishing gear, or parade participants. Kits are still available for $1500 uninstalled. This one is nicely finished and made out of oak. Sure adds character. Little things mean a lot .
