C4 automatic transmission. This Shay runs good and is pretty quick because of its light weight. It appears to be sitting on a Hot Rod Model A frame, with a solid dropped front axle, 4 link rear suspension and a larger rear differential. The tires are new, the cowl lights are the turn signals and everything works as it should including the radio. The paint has chip touch ups on it and the car looks good. All around a fun, reliable car. Ford manufactured the chassis , engines and drive train, Harry Shay fabricated the fiberglass bodies working from the engineering drawings of the Model A. California residents will be subject to DMV fees and 7.25% sales tax, all other buyer"s will receive a clear California title.
