Vehicle description
Description: 1929 Mercedes Kit Car built on a Chevrolet Chevette chassis (engine up front). Engine is a 4 cyl Chevette with an automatic transmission. Engine was completely rebuilt out of chassis by a professional mechanic shop and has about 300 local miles. Body completely frame off painted with a 2 stage clear coat. ( Dark red metallic) Fun car to drive! A few things that need attention:
1. Inside door latches replaced, 2. Aftermarket horn button needs repair 3. Light switch needs replaced (see picture) 4. Bottom of the front seat covers need re-glued. Grand kids insist on taking the car to town when they visit! I have many extra parts: Extra bumper, running board kit, rear spare tire kit, hood strap and several hinges & chrome parts. I did not install rear tire kit because I could not find a wheel and cover to match, also running boards made entry into the car difficult plus I"m getting much too old to work on it. Very low reserve. I have a video of the car being driven that I can send if interested. Any questions you can contact me through Ebay.
