Vehicle description
1929 Marmon Roosevelt Victoria Coupe. Runs and drive good. Tires are like new but about 5-7 years old Engine and under the hood has been done. Engine was solid when taken apart. Has all new gaskets including new head gasket, plugs, points, freeze plugs, timing chain, fan belt, complete wiring harness, distributor cap, new spark plug wires, rebuilt water pump, new head bolts and nuts, radiator flush and repair, throw out bearing, fly wheel surfaced, rebuild clutch and disk, starter rebuilt, hoses, and battery shut off installed. New caburetor, but not original. Original carbs were not much good and fell apart. Rear end was taken apart and checked and fluids changed. Brakes work good. Pedals and shifter painted. I believe the car has been painted one time but others think it is original. I have what I think is the original trunk but its rough. Have some extra misc. parts also.
Also has an electric fuel pump. Vacuum tank is only for looks.
The Roosevelt was made in Indianapolis Indiana. Only made 2 years. 70 horsepower Straight Eight Engine. Bore and Stroke is 2 3/4 x 4 1/2 inches. Displacement is 201.9 cubic inches. Spring suspension. Mechanical brakes. Adjustable steering column. Advertised as the first Straight Eight under 1000.00. I believe there are not many of these left and the Victoria Coupe is really hard to find.
I can deliver for a fee worked out between me and buyer if needed.
Please ask questions and look at pictures, and thanks for looking.
Note: I don"t know what the G80 means above but couldn"t get it to go away.
