Vehicle description

Vehicle Details Here we have a relatively rare (total 1929 production: 10,110) very distinctive body style Buick Master Six 121" wheelbase Model 41 five-passenger four-door Close-Coupled Sedan. This is an older restoration featuring a brown over cream paint treatment with black fenders. The tan interior is 1929 original (and shows it!) but it's all there. Some specifics: Firestone WW tires, rebuilt shocks, relined brakes, reproduction oil filter, sealed hub fan bearing, battery cut-off switch, directional signals, seat belts, safety glass all around, right side tail light (only left side came standard), Buick center stop light mounted in front of the large vintage accessory trunk, vintage fog lamps, heater (not hooked-up but easily connected), vintage steering column-mounted windshield fan, antique bud vases, rear window privacy shade, all stainless steel hardware, window regulators smoothly raise and lower windows, new firewall insulator, electric fuel pump and regulator, fuel gauge sending unit has been rebuilt but gauge itself needs fluid. Engine is a 309 CID overhead valve ("valve-in-head" in vintage Buick-speak) straight six with 90.5 HP and 215 ft. lbs. of torque; the gearbox is a 3-speed manual on the floor. Brakes are mechanical, four wheel externally contracting type. This vehicle is what the car guys call a "twenty-footer"; the digital photos accompanying this listing make the paint look great, but it isn't perfect; there are a number of scratches and dings, but she's very presentable. New proper rubber pedal pads and new reproduction rear view mirror I never got around to installing are included, along with extensive, and I mean EXTENSIVE, original and reproduction 1929 Buick literature doggedly accumulated over the last seven years, without regard to cost. The car is not currently running, although it was as recently as 2019 (engine is not stuck). There is an electrical problem that eludes me (I'm no mechanic) and frankly, at 77 years of age, I no longer have the time or inclination to crawl around, over or under, an old car. I've had my fun with it; now, it's your turn. I've provided you with 18 photos to help you make a purchase decision. Offered without reserve. Good Minnesota title. Sold as is - no warranty. Buyer is responsible for all pick-up and shipping costs. I will be happy to coordinate and cooperate with your shipper. Please, do your homework and think about your finances and consider shipping costs from zip 55047 before you hit that bid button (winning Minnesota bidders are responsible for applicable sales taxes). A non-refundable $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction's close. Only the deposit is payable through PayPal; final payment, due within 7 days after auction's close, must be by bank wire transfer or certified bank cashier's check (check will need to clear before title is sent and vehicle is released to your carrier). Non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay. I've been buying and selling on since 1999. Check my feedback and bid in confidence. Images Download the Motors app
