ALL STEEL 1928 Ford Model A Roadster. If I remember correctly, I originally purchased it in the late 1990"s. Chevy 327" power. #3782870 block casting number ("62-"64 327" motor), Edelbrock C3B aluminum intake manifold with Holley four barrel carb. (just refreshed this week). Just installed Pertronix ignition in the Mallory distributor with Flame Thrower coil. FOUR SPEED transmission with Hurst shifter. Updates over the last many years include new powdercoated Vintique wire wheels (I think around 2001), ZIP water pump riser (2003), new exhaust with Flowmasters (2005, but still looks almost new), Ignition wires (2020), seats reupholstered in soft leather (2021). Fun car, and the body has been pretty much left alone, as it was when originally built, meaning it"s very solid, with lots of dings and patina. New running boards and used "32 grill shell are newer replacement parts. Runs and drives as a typical old hot rod with solid front and rear axles, meaning it"s NOT an all new cookie cutter fiberglass roadster with independent suspension, disc brakes and an automatic transmission. Starts right up, steers and stops fine, and goes down the road just as you"d expect. IF I remember correctly, the dash is from a "39 Plymouth, and I"ve never hooked it up. Tach. is an old Dixco. Fuel tank is in the trunk.
