Windsor engine rated at approximately 425 h.p., backed by a C-6 3-speed automatic transmission, and driven by a 9” Ford differential with 3.70:1 posi-traction gears. NO TRADES CASH ONLY Build was completed just over 15 years and 5,500 miles ago using a custom square tube frame, Mustang II independent front end with rack & pinion steering, and coil over shocks with a ladder bar style rear suspension. Brakes are power ‘electric’ with disc front and drum in the rear. Front and rear bumpers were custom made. Wheels are by Cragar with 165/80R/15’s radial tires up front and N50/15 Mickey Thompson Pro Trac’s on the back. The interior uses Ford Grenada bucket seats with lap seatbelts and a Lokar floor shifter. The custom steel dash houses VDO gauges which include Speedometer, Tach, water temp, oil pressure, fuel level, and Ammeter. GT steering wheel is mounted to tilt steering column. The body appears to have little or no bodywork in it and there is no evidence of rust or bubbling. A pop-up sunroof was added to allow for more ventilation. The power trunk reveals a 16-gallon fuel cell and battery. The ’28 is fun to drive, handles like it’s on ‘rails’, and draws attention at all of the shows and cruise-ins.
