A few life changes are forcing me to sell my beloved Model T Speedster
Below is the original description from the classic car dealership that I purchased her from last year. .

This 1925 Ford Model T Speedster has been with the same family for over 40 year and features a 177ci inline-four upgraded with a Sherman high-compression head. A Warford auxiliary gearbox is paired to the standard Model T transmission, and the brakes have been replaced with Rocky Mountain units. The previous owner inherited the car from his father, who scratch built the body and restored the chassis and drivetrain, completing the project in 1977.
Said to have been driven sparingly over the years, the original light creme finish has held up well, exhibiting a consistent shine in the photos. Painted wheels are Hayes wires fitted with a set of 4.5×21″ Riversides tires.
The body was completely scratch built in 1977, with the chassis and drivetrain restored at that time. The body is a custom formed wooden buck on which fiberglass was hand laid. The hood and fenders are steel.
The simple cockpit features a custom wood dash fascia, and apart from an inoperable temperature gauge and inaccurate speedometer, houses functioning tachometer and amperes gauges. Though equipped with a working steering wheel-mounted throttle lever, an additional accelerator floor pedal was added during the build. Still fitted with its original hand-crank, vehicle is also fitted with an electric start for ease and reliability. Leather upholstery on the single bench seats shows minimal wear. The odometer shows 1,455 miles, but true mileage is unknown.
Under the hood, the 177ci inline-four has been upgraded with a Sherman high-compression head and a 12v conversion employing a VW distributor. Induction is from a single Carter downdraft carburetor while exhaust is via a custom 4-into-1 header dumping directly into a straight pipe exiting aft of the cockpit. A standard T gearbox features two forward speeds with reverse and is accompanied by a Warford auxiliary gearbox featuring underdrive, direct drive, and overdrive for a total of six gears. The brakes are Rocky Mountain units.
The car has been inspected and driven by the seller, all fluids have been checked and all of the fittings have been greased and oiled appropriately. The car starts and runs excellently and all mechanical systems operate correctly
Some oil drops are noted on the underside of the mechanicals, which can be seen in the detailed gallery.

If you"re not familiar, these Model T"s did not use normal a normal 3-pedal setup for operation but use a very unique system that is a blast to operate and learn how to control. I will be happy to give lessons on operation and you will be up and running as a champ in no time.
A dream to drive, there is no greater feeling than cruising through the back roads in this vehicle. Wind through your hair, an amazing sound rumbling from the exhaust. Be prepared to talk to EVERYBODY, as it is non-stop waves, high-fives and gatherings of people wanting to know all about her. Easy and inexpensive to maintain, and truly an experience and a thrill to own.
Will be happy to assist with shipping. Feel free to ask any questions you may have
