Vehicle description
Relisted! Previous winning bidder experienced a unforeseen hardship. Do to the circumstancesof the hardship I agreed to released him from his obligation to complete the transaction. up for sale is my 1923 T-Bucket tilted as a 1920 Model T. Have Title and bill of sale from previous owner. To start I got this vehicle about 5 years back from a guy going through a divorce. At that time it was mostly apart needing to be reassembled and wired. I spent several months putting the car back together enough to be able to fire it and test all the mechanicals. I quickly found out that the engine was no good and had low oil pressure and the transmission slipped so bad the car would barely move. I also quickly found out how many parts were missing or no good. I ended up pulling the power train back out and installed a rebuilt SBC 4 bolt main 355 which I had on a stand intended for a different project and had the TH-400 transmission professionally built by "Transmission Works" here in New Britain CT. I installed a new 2000 stall at the time of re installation of the power train as I feared the old stall converter was contaminated with debris. Less than 100 miles have been put on the car since I put it back on the road. The 9 inch rear was rebuilt a few years back when I first got the car. At that time i installed new drums, shoes, hardware and wheel cylinders. Has new wilwood front brake setup with about 100 miles on it. Stops the car very well. Has a manual adjustable proportioning valve under the car to adjust brake percentage front to rear. I put the brake system in just before I pulled the old power train. New rubber all the way around. Interior is clean. This car has a single passenger door. BM quick shifter, tons of chrome, billet, and polished aluminum accessories. To many accessories to list. I put the best of the best when building the car. I have a large folder full of receipts to prove it. Have a black vinyl top for the car. I also have front and rear fenders, and fiberglass pickup bed which I personally didn"t care for as I wanted a different look. Everything I have for the car is going with the car. Only selling because I have to many toys and not enough space. Just thinning the herd sorta say. I personally have not registered the car since I acquire it as I have access to a dealer plate from my work. Only thing I know of that the car needs is the speedometer cable hooked up, front blinkers and a horn to pass a inspection, and a paint job. The original gel coat still shows well from a few feet away. . I never got around to doing those things. That last picture of the car it shows it with a blower setup. The blower is not included in the auction. I put the picture up so you can see what the car looks like with the vinyl top installed. Any questions feel free to ask. Good luck and happy bidding. A $500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close. Full payment to be made within 3 days from auction close unless special arrangements are made between the seller and buyer. Vehicle, Title, and paperwork will not be released to the buyer/ transport company till full payment clears. Buyer is responsible for all Shipping costs. I can aid in loading the car onto your transport company"s trailer. ( I Strongly suggest enclosed transport for this specific vehicle do to the fact that the mechaincals and interior are not protected from the element like most automobiles). I can also deliver the vehicle in a enclosed climate controlled trailer for a additional fee "to be negotiated" within 250 miles of zip code 06037. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as this vehicle is also for sale locally.
