Vehicle description
This is a very well documented 1922 Maxwell Touring Car, Model 25 "The Good Maxwell" Ownership history known back to the original owner, a Maxwell Dealer in Phoenix Arizona by the name of Mr. Frank Harris. Besides the great lineage this particular car has a strong tie to Jack Benny! His involvement with this car is well documented and photographed and all that comes with the sale! Restored to operating condition by the Rudsill family in the 1960"s. Car was extensively toured, and many medals and dash plaques are displayed in a frame, This car also climbed the famed Pike"s Peak. Car has been in many collections throughout it"s later life, Spare engine and transmission come with sale, We have fired the engine in the car on a remote fuel tank, as it had been on display and drained of all fuel, Car runs but will need going through before being ready to tour again. This is a piece of history, not many surviving Maxwells today. We hope whoever purchases this car will enjoy preserving it"s rich history. For more details please email. Car is Being Sold on BILL OF SALE only. NH Does not require titles for antique vehicles. Please check with your registering agency to make sure this is not an issue in your state.
